|Makeup Bee-Gone |

I’ve had such a hard time finding a makeup wipe that is not only gentle enough to not make my sensitive skin break out, but also effective enough to remove even my most stubborn waterproof makeup. Recently I decided to purchase the Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towlettes and I have fallen in love! These wipes are formulated for normal skin, ( as opposed to their Sensitive Skin, Normal to Oily, Normal to Dry Exfoliating, or Normal to Dry cleansing wipes), and works so well on my skin. Although I almost always wash my face before I go to sleep, (and YOU should too), these wipes give you a chance to take the day off and let your skin breathe before you cleanse it at night. Or, these wipes can be useful to remove your makeup before swimming, before working out, or before trying out a different makeup look!

You can purchase these wipes pretty much anywhere! I picked mine up at CVS, but you can also purchase them at Target or a Walmart!

| Camouflage |

When it comes to summertime, there is nothing I hate more than wearing a full face of makeup. I have always been very minimalistic when it comes to using products on my skin and it has taken me awhile to find the perfect balance between achieving a medium to full coverage look while using little to no product. I think I’ve finally found my holy grail item for just that!

ºMaybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector:  This product offers perfect coverage for your undereyes as well as for blemishes without looking thick or cakey. Also because this product is infused with ACTYL C, (an antioxidant), that actually works to help heal your skin. (Obviously I wouldn’t rely on this alone to heal acne).

  • Shade: In the winter I normally use this shade while in the summer I use this one.

ºTo Apply: Instead of putting the wand directly onto my undereyes and blemishes, I take the wand and dab a dime-sized amount of product onto the back of my hand. From there I take my Sonia Kashuk Multipurpose Brush, dab it into the product, and apply it on my skin with a light stippling motion. I don’t like putting the wand directly onto my face because I don’t want to transfer any dirt or impurity from my skin back into the product. This way, I can ensure that every single time I use my concealer, I’m not using a product that has been affected by use on troubled skin.

ºSonia Kashuk Flat Top Multipurpose Brush: I purchased my brush at Target as part of a Limited Edition four piece core makeup brush set. I absolutely love this brush because it doesn’t soak up a lot of product into the bristles and it blends my concealer so naturally. If you aren’t interested in purchasing this entire set of brushes, you can purchase the brush separately here!

| Protect & Preserve |

This Mario Badescu daily moisturizer has become a favorite of mine because of its ability to not only preserve the moisture of my skin but also to protect against sun damage/wrinkles and fine lines because of its SPF content and unique collagen formula.

ºCollagen Mositurizer SPF 15, although lightweight, offers an antioxidant-infused hydration with a broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. It contains collagen and cottonseed oil (which is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids). These ingredients work together to support your skin’s firmness and elasticity as well as helping your complexion appear plumper and smoother. Although we only think to use SPF during the summer months, it’s SO important to protect your skin year-round.

This product is also available at Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Ulta.

Although we only think to use sun protection and SPF during the hot summer months, it is SO important to protect your skin year-round and to use products that help prevent wrinkles even in your early 20s!

| Sunkissed |

In my opinion, the next best thing to laying out in the summer months is creating a makeup look that resembles a sunkissed glow. For this reason, these two products have become my go-to items this summer. Here’s why I love these items so much and how you can get your hands on them!

ºMaybelline Fit Me BlushThis blush is in the shade 208 or Medium Nude. I love this product because it isn’t too shimmery where it looks like you’re walking straight out of the 90s but it does have a little sheen to it that perfectly captures the light. This shade really compliments your bone structure while offering your face an overall warm glow. I have olive skin so this may not work for you if you are fair or if you have a deeper skin tone. In that case, I suggest this shade for fair skin and this shade for deeper tones.

This product is also available at Bed Bath and Beyond and Buy Me Beauty. (I picked mine up at the local CVS).

ºSonia Kashuk Tapered BrushI purchased this brush as part of a set sold at Target! This brush is amazing because its shape lends an easy application for inexperienced to professional users and is amazing quality. I find that this brush does not soak up or grab too much product but allows you to transfer the pigment easily from the product to your skin. If you aren’t interested in purchasing this entire set at Target (although you get more for your dollar if you do!), then here is a great Sonia Kashuk brush alternative!

| Warm and Cool Tones |

One trend that I am already loving this season is wearing a mixture of warm and cool tones. Not only does the color contrast really pop, but this style looks great on all skin tones! Here’s a tip, if you’re just starting to dabble with warm and cool tones, try wearing complimentary colors. (yellow + purple, orange + blue) and then work your way to pairing other tones! Also, don’t be afraid to mix a patterned top with

In this picture, I’m wearing two very distinct pieces but your warm and cool toned look could be as simple as different colored accessories with a solid color tee! If you have a favorite warm and cool tone look, comment down below!

ºPom Pom Off the Shoulder TopThe top that is linked is not the exact one pictured but is very similar (I bought mine at Marshalls!). The off the shoulder look is huge this season as well as fun pom poms that add the perfect detail to any outfit! My style tip would be to buy one size up on off-the-shoulder tops so that it won’t pop off your shoulders every time you move your arms!

Forever 21 or Target!

ºMustard Colored Shorts: I recently picked these up from Loft and have fallen in love with the way that they fit! Not only are they super comfortable, but they are easily dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. These shorts offer the perfect warm tone to pair with any cool color.

ºGladiator SandalsThe shoes that are linked are not the exact ones pictured, but are the same style and brand. I picked these sandals up from J.C. Penny two years ago and still haven’t run out of looks to pair them with. These shoes go great with a casual summer outfit, like the one pictured, or with a sundress!

| Summer Essentials – Baby Edition|

ATTENTION ALL MOMMIES (and anyone with small children!)

I know what you’re thinking, “I can’t believe summer is already coming!” Well have no fear! These summer essentials will allow you to breathe a little bit easier knowing you have products that you can depend on throughout the coming months!

º Tinksky Leather Backpack/Diaper Bag: [bottom left] I used to carry around a diaper bag that was super cute but was also big and bulky. This synthetic leather backpack (that doubles as a diaper bag) is easy to carry and acts as a cheaper alternative to the honest brand diaper bag. I find that even though they are smaller, I am still able to fit everything I need for a day out with my son. These backpacks come in various colors and are available for free shipping via your amazon prime account! If you’re planning on taking trips to the mall, to the zoo, or to the local pool this summer, then I strongly suggest you purchase this bag!

º Baseball CapIt is finally time to ditch those scratchy, sweaty knit beanies and purchase some baseball caps for your baby this summer! I find that not only do baseball caps protect my son’s scalp from the sun, but also the bill of the cap protects his face! I love having the peace of mind that his head is protected from sunburn! While I could not find the exact hat pictured, I’ve included links to various affordable baseball caps! Also, if you have a baby girl and want them to wear something other than a baseball cap, I’ve linked some sun hats as well!

Spring Cap        Pineapple Print Trucker Hat     Sun Cap

Polka Dot Sun Hat     White Sun Hat     Reversible Sun Hat

º Bubbles: If you’re looking for a simple activity to entertain your baby that leaves little to no mess, look no further! You can purchase bubbles anywhere and they provide your baby with hours of fun! Not only that, but also buying your baby (or toddler) some bubbles gives you a great excuse to get outside and enjoy the warm weather!

º Sunscreen: If you purchase nothing else from this post, PLEASE purchase your son or daughter some sunscreen. While there are many brands to choose from, including some organic brands, I have found that the Coppertone Water Babies Lotion Spray with SPF 50 works best for my son! I love this product because it’s easy to spray on your child without the mess of lathering them up and it is water resistant so it’s perfect for a day at the pool!

| Please be sure to wait until your baby is at least 6 months of age before applying ANY sunscreen |

º CAT Dump Truck: Sometimes it can be difficult to find a toy that will be able to transition through various ages with your growing child. This CAT truck is the perfect solution to that problem! I find that my 8 month old loves to play with the blocks in this truck set and I know that as he grows, he will be able to push it around and play outside in the dirt with it. This is a great purchase for both sitting babies and for busy toddlers. |For a more affordable option, click here! |
