Now that it is officially summertime, it’s time to rethink our leggings and pullover on-the-go look (one of my personal favorites for cold months). It can be really hard for some women, especially mothers, to find that perfect balance of not looking like they are still in pajamas but also not looking like they are trying too hard. For this reason, I’ve decided to give you guys an example of a simple, everyday outfit that is easy to throw on but looks put together enough to run errands in all day. Remember that no matter WHAT you’re wearing, the most beautiful thing about you is what is on the INSIDE!
If you have a favorite on-the-go look, feel free to comment down below!
ºKeds Baseball Cap: I love this hat because it is affordable and the solid color matches with almost any outfit. I wear this one with a pony, as pictured, or with a low messy bun. If you’re looking for other options of solid colored hats, I would check out Nordstrom, H & M, or Target!
ºNike Women’s V-Neck: This shirt is great for a workout at the gym, for a quick run, or for a comfortable shirt to run errands in. It is lightweight and easy to pair with just about anything. If you’re looking for a different style t-shirt, Nike has a lot of great workout shirts out right now!
ºThin Black Belt: Really any brand will do for this accessory! This adds just a little bit of detail that really pulls the entire outfit together. You can pick one up for yourself at Old Navy or Target!
ºOld Navy Denim Shorts: Again, any brand of shorts will do the trick for this look. I suggest wearing a slightly longer pair than you would normally wear to a day at the beach simply because you will be bending and moving while loading and unloading your car all day and you should have the comfort of knowing that you’re covered! (Nobody wants to see that!!!) If you’re looking for a more bermuda style short, check out Gap or Maurices!
ºNike Free Run Flyknit: These are by far the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes that I have ever owned. I know that Nikes are a little bit more on the expensive side, but trust me, you will get plenty of use out of them! These are great for a training day at the gym or for a day that you will be on your feet for several hours.
